Parking
Newark has a number of parking lots as well as ample street parking. During the autumn and spring University of Delaware semesters, things can be busy sometimes, but there are plenty of hours that you can come without things being too busy from the students. The busiest times for students are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays until about 2pm (February through May & September through November). Outside of these times, you will likely find a parking spot pretty easily. During those times you will find parking, but may need to walk for a block or so. The entrance to closest municipal lot to us is just past our shop on the left.
Parking is paid for by kiosk or the "Passport Parking" app (Zone 19718). The kiosk takes quarters as well as credit cards. The kiosk nearest our shop is about 30 feet away (further up Main Street - looking at our shop, it is to the right). It is "pay by plate", so you will need to have your license plate number handy. You do not need to put a receipt on your dashboard.
Handicap parking throughout Newark is free! There is a handicap spot directly in front of our shop!
